1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing or using the Y2ASK website (y2ask.link), sending an anonymous prompt, or downloading the mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Y2ASK. Individuals under 13 are prohibited from creating accounts or using the platform.
Minors: If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Platform Purpose & Personal Links

Y2ASK provides personal links (y2ask.link/[username]) that allow creators to receive candid, anonymous questions and prompts from their audience. Senders do not need to register an account to ask questions.

Anonymity on Y2ASK protects honest expression. It is a community privilege, not a license to intimidate, harass, or inflict harm on other individuals.

3. Prohibited Conduct & Content Guidelines

You agree not to transmit, post, or solicit any content that violates these rules:

Cyberbullying & Harassment: Targeted abusive campaigns, persistent unwanted messaging, or threats of violence.
Hate Speech: Promoting violence, incitement, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Self-Harm Incitement: Encouraging suicide or self-injury.
Doxxing: Sharing private phone numbers, home addresses, passwords, or personal identifying records of any person without authorization.
Child Exploitation: Any sexualized content involving minors or grooming attempts.
Spam & Automated Scripts: Flooding creator links with automated bots, commercial spam, or phishing links.

4. Moderation, Reporting & Account Suspension

Automated Screening: Incoming messages are processed by automated filters that intercept severe profanity, hate speech, and crisis keywords.
User Blocking: Recipients have the right to block any sender at will. Blocking permanently rejects future submissions from that sender's device hash.
Enforcement: We reserve the right to remove content, block device fingerprints, or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Content Ownership & Operational License

You retain ownership of any original text and messages you submit. However, to operate the platform, you grant Y2ASK a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, format, transmit, and display user-generated content solely as required to provide our service (e.g., routing messages to creator inboxes and rendering story cards).

6. In-App Purchases, Passes & Hints

Y2ASK may offer optional in-app memberships or hints. In accordance with app store guidelines:

No Fake Reveals: Hints provide aggregated, non-identifying telemetry (such as broad device family or general region). We never sell, reveal, or claim to reveal real-world sender names, phone numbers, or addresses.
Billing: In-app purchases are processed through the official Apple App Store or Google Play Store and can be managed in your store account settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Y2ASK is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Y2ASK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform or any user-generated content.

8. Termination & Contact Information

You may terminate your account at any time via in-app settings or through our Delete Data page.
