Y2ASK Legal & Compliance
Child Safety Policy
Y2ASK maintains a strict zero-tolerance stance toward the sexual exploitation, grooming, harassment, or abuse of children and minors.
Last updated: October 2026
1. Strict Prohibitions on Harmful Conduct
We strictly prohibit any conduct that endangers minors. The following actions result in immediate, permanent bans and referral to appropriate legal authorities:
- Child Sexual Exploitation & Abuse (CSAE/CSAM): Creating, sharing, requesting, or facilitating sexually explicit content involving individuals under 18.
- Grooming: Sending messages that attempt to establish inappropriate relationships, solicit offline meetings, or request personal contact information (phone numbers, physical addresses, private social accounts) from minors.
- Sexual Harassment & Bullying: Sending unwanted sexually suggestive commentary, extortion threats, or targeted harassment directed at children or teenagers.
2. Age Eligibility & Minor Restrictions
Y2ASK is restricted to users aged 13 years and older. During mobile onboarding, users must provide date-of-birth confirmation.
- Under 13 Restriction: Individuals under 13 are prohibited from creating accounts or hosting public links. If an onboarding attempt indicates an age under 13, account creation terminates immediately and no data is saved.
- Teen Protections (Ages 13–17): Accounts belonging to minors are subject to default automated content filtering to block predatory keywords and severe profanity.
- Zero Minor Profiling: We do not track, profile, or deliver behavioral commercial advertising to children or teenagers.
3. How to Report Abusive Content
Users and parents can report abusive messages, predatory attempts, or underage account concerns through two active channels:
A. In-App & Web Reporting Tool
Every message card in the mobile app includes a 1-tap “Report” option. On the web, users can file a direct abuse report via our Abuse Reporting Form.
B. Direct Child Safety Email
Send details directly to safety@y2ask.link with the subject line “Urgent Child Safety Report”. Reports involving child safety receive priority triage.
4. Blocking Senders
Creators can block any sender immediately with one tap. Because senders are anonymous, blocking operates via the sender's salted cryptographic device hash:
- The abusive device's hash is permanently added to the creator's personal block list.
- Subsequent message submissions from that device to the creator's link are automatically rejected at the API gateway before delivery.
5. Moderation & Statutory Law Enforcement Reporting
We maintain automated text screening to intercept explicit language, threats, and crisis keywords before delivery. If potential child sexual abuse or grooming is detected or reported:
- The content is quarantined and removed from the platform immediately.
- The offending device hash is permanently banned from all Y2ASK services.
- Relevant technical data is preserved and reported to statutory authorities and national child safety clearinghouses (such as NCMEC and cybercrime reporting portals) in accordance with applicable laws.
6. Parental Rights & Data Erasure
Parents or legal guardians who discover that an unauthorized minor under 13 has submitted information or created an account can request expedited removal:
Parental Removal Desk: safety@y2ask.link
Self-Service Erasure: You can also submit an account purge request via our Delete Data page.
Timeline: Verified parental removal requests are executed within 24 hours.
